Headed by noted laparoscopic surgeon, Dr.Baiju Senadipan MS, MCh, this department routinely performs both simple and advanced surgeries related to the abdomen. Hernia repair, intestinal surgeries, appendicectomies, hemorrhoid surgeries, surgery for intestinal tumors etc are performed by this department in association with the Department of Surgery.
